Film Night "Respect"

Holy Cross Church Parish Room, Downsway

Film Night meets each month on the 3rd Friday of the month. Film titles are chosen by club members attending in the previous month. Doors open at 7pm and the film starts promptly at 7.30 and there is a break for reasonably priced ice creams or drinks. Cost: £4 on the door, each visitor receives a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning the film at the end of the evening.

February's Film "Respect"

Following the rise of Aretha Franklin's career from a young child singing in her father's church's choir to her international superstardom, "Respect" is the remarkable true story of the music icon's journey to find her voice and become the Queen of Soul.
